What ViralSpoon is, who it's for, and how to get started.

Do I need prior experience to use ViralSpoon?

No. ViralSpoon is specifically built for users without a marketing or design background. After scanning your website, ViralSpoon creates the content calendar, writes the texts, designs the images in your branding, and publishes at calculated times. You decide on topics and approvals.

How does AI content creation work?

ViralSpoon helps you create posts: text and a matching image, as a post, story, carousel, or graphic Text Slide. This is based on your company's website scan and your branding. Your own photos, built-in stock images, a PDF, a link, or a blog article can serve as source material. ViralSpoon supports you, but you stay in control.

Can I manage multiple channels at the same time?

Yes. ViralSpoon publishes to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (company pages), and WhatsApp, and you plan all connected channels centrally from one content calendar. A single post can be published to multiple channels at once. TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn personal profiles are planned but not yet available.

Is there a free trial period?

Yes, you can try ViralSpoon free and without obligation for 7 days.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Cancellation happens in the "Subscription" section. Your access stays active until the end of the current billing period. The contract term varies by plan and can be viewed directly at checkout. There are monthly subscriptions, which you can cancel monthly, or annual subscriptions, which you can cancel at the end of the term.

Can I see ViralSpoon live before signing up?

Yes, and it's free. We show ViralSpoon twice a week in an open webinar — Wednesdays at 12:00 and Thursdays at 16:00, each with a feature overview and live demo. You can ask questions directly. This gives you a preview of how ViralSpoon, as an AI social media manager, handles planning, content creation, and publishing.

Can I use my own images instead of AI-generated images?

Yes. You upload your own photos to your image library and combine them with AI-generated text and templates. Alternatively, you can use the built-in stock photos or have the AI generate images for you. All three sources can be mixed within a single post. ViralSpoon applies your branding equally to all three sources.

Which channels does ViralSpoon publish to automatically?

ViralSpoon currently supports Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (company pages) live. LinkedIn personal profiles, WhatsApp, TikTok, and Pinterest are planned but not yet available. You decide which channels to use for each post: a single post can be published to multiple connected channels at the same time. For Instagram, you need a business profile linked to a Facebook page.

What is Anti-Duplicated Content?

When centrally created content is sent identically to many accounts, platforms can flag it as a copy of the same content. That's why Anti-Duplicated Content in ViralSpoon Agency Mode automatically individualizes each post in both text and design. The core message stays the same, but for the networks, each version counts as its own post.

Which operating systems is the ViralSpoon app available for?

The ViralSpoon app is available for iOS and Android and is free in both stores. You sign in with the same credentials you use in the browser – you don't need a separate account. Accounts, branding, and connected channels are the same in the app and on the web.

How does ViralSpoon know which topics fit my business?

ViralSpoon scans your website during setup and gathers your services, target audience, and tone from it. The ViralSpoon AI derives the topics for your content calendar from this information and your industry classification. You can add your own focus topics at any time through content calendar management in Expert Mode.

What does Brand Voice mean at ViralSpoon?

Brand Voice is the way your company sounds and looks. At ViralSpoon, it covers language, colors, and layouts: tone of address, tonality, fixed terms, brand colors, logo placement, and preferred templates. You set it up once, and the AI then applies it to every post.

Which social media statistics does ViralSpoon show?

ViralSpoon shows three values per post and per channel: impressions, likes, and comments. The evaluation is shown separately for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (company pages), and WhatsApp. Additional metrics such as saves, shares, or audience demographics are not included. The feature set is deliberately limited to the values that let you make a decision.

How does a brand provide social media content to its sales partners?

Through a shared platform that partners select from themselves. With ViralSpoon Connect, the brand uploads posts, carousels, and Reels. Each partner pulls the content they want into their own account, personalizes it with AI, and publishes it under their own name. Both the brand and the partner can see the performance.

Can I manually adjust the content calendar?

Yes, at any time and on every level. You can change text and images, move dates, switch channels, or discard a post entirely. ViralSpoon's content calendar is a suggestion – only what you leave in place or actively approve gets published. You can also fully disable automation.

How many social media accounts can I manage in Agency Mode?

ViralSpoon Agency Mode is built for managing multiple accounts: you control every account you manage from one central dashboard, each with its own branding and its own content calendar. The number of accounts included in the Agency plan is listed on the pricing page; for your specific setup, a conversation will clarify things faster.

Can ViralSpoon create posts from a PDF or blog article?

Yes. ViralSpoon creates posts from an image, a PDF, a link, or a blog article. A menu as a PDF or an existing blog post becomes a social media post this way, without you having to copy or rewrite content. A social media post with text and layout in your branding can also be created from your own photo.

Why can't ViralSpoon post to my Instagram profile?

Instagram only allows third-party publishing for business profiles linked to a Facebook page through the Meta Business Portfolio. A private profile can't be connected — that's a requirement set by Meta. You make the switch yourself in your Instagram settings, and your posts and followers stay intact.

What's included in Expert Mode?

ViralSpoon Expert Mode includes advanced configuration of Brand Voice and content rules, the ViralSpoon Copilot as an AI assistant for topic suggestions, and content calendar management with your own topic specifications. This lets you control both individual posts and the basis for automatic planning. The ViralSpoon Copilot works interactively and delivers tailored topic suggestions.

Do statistics update automatically?

No. You load the values yourself using the "Refresh statistics" button whenever you need them. ViralSpoon then pulls the numbers from your connected channels. A refresh right after publishing rarely pays off, because platforms only return reliable figures after a few hours.

What's the difference between the pull and push model?

In the pull model of ViralSpoon Connect, the sales partner pulls the content they want into their own account and decides on publishing themselves. In the push model of ViralSpoon Agency Mode, the headquarters or agency pushes content directly into the accounts. Pull suits independent partners, while push suits your own locations.

Can I post directly from my phone with the app?

Yes, that's its main purpose. You take a photo, choose a template in your company's branding along with AI-generated text, and publish it to your connected channels. The text can be edited before posting. You can publish immediately or at a chosen time.

Do I lose control over my posts?

No. Every scheduled post can be viewed and edited before publication – text, image, timing, and channel. You can also delete posts. And you can fully disable automation, so ViralSpoon only publishes what you explicitly approve. ViralSpoon's content calendar is a suggestion, not a fixed requirement.

Do I also need an analytics tool like Google Analytics?

Not for evaluating your social media posts: you see impressions, likes, and comments directly in ViralSpoon. For website traffic, audience demographics, or campaign attribution, you'll still need your own analytics tool. ViralSpoon doesn't replace an analytics suite and doesn't aim to. You update the figures manually using the "Update statistics" button.

How many posts does ViralSpoon schedule per week?

That depends on your plan. On the Basic plan, ViralSpoon schedules four automated posts per week; on the Professional plan, seven. You also get a monthly credit balance for your own content. If you turn off automation, this balance increases for self-created posts. The Basic plan provides up to 30 credits, the Professional plan up to 60.

How does ViralSpoon make sure posts match my brand?

ViralSpoon sets up a Brand Voice for text, colors, and layouts and applies it to every post. This is based on the website scan during setup. In Expert Mode, you can refine tonality, approved terms, and design rules as far as you need. You edit your own templates in the Template Editor.

How does Expert Mode differ from content planning?

ViralSpoon's content planning creates the plan automatically and is a core feature. Expert Mode sits on top of it: it determines the rules used for planning and writing. Through content calendar management in Expert Mode, you can also specify your own topics for the plan. ViralSpoon Expert Mode also includes the ViralSpoon Copilot.

Does each client account keep its own branding?

Yes. In ViralSpoon Agency Mode, each account is its own unit with its own colors, logo, and tone of voice. The content calendar is based on a scan of that company's website. A post that goes out to multiple accounts is generated separately for each account in its matching branding.

Does ViralSpoon Connect only work for travel agencies?

No. ViralSpoon Connect was originally built for travel distribution, and that's where its references come from. The mechanism fits anywhere a brand sells through independent third parties: manufacturers and specialist retailers, industry and sales partners, associations and member businesses. The only requirement is that the partner has their own social media presence.

What image format do I need for the app?

For feed posts, 1:1 (square) is recommended. Reels and Stories must be in the 9:16 portrait format, or the Meta interface will reject the publish. If you're shooting on the go, hold your phone upright for Stories and Reels. The ViralSpoon app is available for iOS and Android.

Does scheduling also work for seasonal offers?

Yes. You can add your own promotions in two ways: you can slot individual posts into open dates in the content calendar, or you can set up recurring topics in the content calendar management within Expert Mode. ViralSpoon's AI then automatically factors these in during the next planning round.

Does ViralSpoon also create reels or videos?

ViralSpoon doesn't currently create its own reels — that's in development. You can schedule and publish existing videos. Reels and stories must be in portrait format 9:16; the Meta interface rejects other aspect ratios. Adding music isn't possible yet. ViralSpoon does already create stories from an image upload and carousels, though.

Who decides when a post gets published?

ViralSpoon suggests a favorable time for each channel and adds it to the content calendar. You can override any individual time. For organizations with multiple accounts, the same feature is available as Smart Scheduling in ViralSpoon Agency Mode. If you turn off automation, ViralSpoon only publishes what you explicitly approve.

What rules can I set for my social media content?

You can set terms that should always appear in a specific spelling, phrases that should never appear, topics that get priority, and topics that should be avoided. On top of that come formal requirements such as hashtag usage, no-emoji rules, or text length. The rules apply to all automatically generated posts.

Why doesn't ViralSpoon show reach demographics?

Because the benefit for small businesses is low and the effort is high. If you're publishing four posts a week, age breakdowns won't lead you to a different decision than impressions and comments already do. ViralSpoon therefore focuses on the three metrics that are actually used day to day.

Is Agency Mode suitable for franchise systems and associations?

Yes, this is one of the main use cases. Franchise headquarters, chains, cooperatives, and associations all face the same core problem: content is created centrally but needs to appear in many places. Anti-Duplicated Content and Smart Scheduling address exactly that. If the locations are legally independent and should decide for themselves, ViralSpoon Connect is the better fit.

Is partner content recognizable as advertising for the brand?

The post appears under the sales partner's name and branding, because the AI adapts it to their tone of voice, colors, and logo when it's pulled. The brand's message itself is preserved. Disclosure requirements depend on the specific circumstances — this is not legal advice.

Does the app replace the content calendar?

No. The ViralSpoon app is meant for the spontaneous post that no one could plan for. Your regular baseline coverage continues to run through the content calendar in the browser, including automatic publishing at optimized times. The app and the web work on the same account and complement each other.

Can I have AI write my Instagram captions?

Yes. The ViralSpoon AI writes post copy including hashtags for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn company pages, and WhatsApp. Language and tone follow your saved Brand Voice. You can edit any text in the editor before publishing, or have it generated again from scratch. Your Brand Voice comes from the website scan during setup.

What should I do if a publication fails?

First check three things: Is the Instagram business profile still linked to the Facebook page, does the aspect ratio match (1:1 for posts, 9:16 for stories and reels), and does the post mix images and video? These three causes explain most failed attempts.

Does Expert Mode check my content for legal compliance?

No. ViralSpoon Expert Mode is a technical aid: you can block certain terms and set up rules, but ViralSpoon does not replace legal advice or professional sign-off. An automatic check against the German Therapeutic Products Advertising Act (Heilmittelwerbegesetz) is not included. Responsibility for published content remains with you.

Why am I not getting any numbers for my Instagram profile?

Probably because the profile isn't a business profile. Instagram only provides statistics for business profiles that are linked to a Facebook page via the Meta Business Portfolio. Purely private profiles aren't supported by ViralSpoon and also don't return any data through the interface.

What is WKZ tracking in ViralSpoon Connect?

WKZ stands for Werbekostenzuschuss — co-op advertising funding that a brand provides to its sales partners for advertising. ViralSpoon Connect logs which partner published which brand content. Documentation is therefore generated automatically from usage, instead of being pieced together from screenshots and individual invoices. Brand and sales partners see the performance data in real time.

Can I add music to my posts in the app?

No, adding music isn't currently possible through ViralSpoon — neither in the app nor in the browser. ViralSpoon creating its own Reels is also on the roadmap and not yet available. You can upload finished Reels if they're in the 9:16 format.

How individual is the content?

ViralSpoon's AI creates text and images in your branding: ViralSpoon takes colors, logo, and brand voice from the website scan during setup and from the information you provide. In ViralSpoon Expert Mode, you can further refine your brand voice and rules. Your own photos and your own templates can be used at any time.

Who is Expert Mode worth it for?

ViralSpoon Expert Mode is worthwhile for businesses that want more precise control over brand voice, content rules, and AI personalization than the default setup offers. It includes ViralSpoon Copilot and content calendar management with your own topic guidelines. If you're happy with the automatically generated content calendar, you don't need Expert Mode.

Who is ViralSpoon Connect designed for?

ViralSpoon Connect serves two sides: brands and partner suppliers who want to provide ready-made content to their distribution partners, and the local businesses that pull and personalize that content. ViralSpoon Connect is currently used in travel distribution.

Is Expert Mode included in all plans?

Expert Mode, including Copilot, is included in every plan from Basic upward – there's nothing extra to add on.

What does Connect cost?

ViralSpoon Connect is a dedicated plan for travel agencies and costs €4.99 per month plus VAT. The other plans are called Lite, Basic, and Pro – all features and prices are listed on the pricing page.

Which option fits me: Location, Studio, or Agency?

What matters is who owns the accounts. If they're yours — your own locations or brands — Location is right for you. If you publish through the channels of legally independent partners, such as franchisees or association members, Studio is the way to go, since it lets the partner approve their own posts. If you manage other clients' accounts with a team, Agency is right, because it lets you control who can do what for each client. The number of accounts doesn't factor into this decision.

Can my client approve posts before they're published?

Yes, with the Studio and Agency plans. The client or partner sees the post and approves it before it goes out — if that option is turned on. Separately, there's also internal approval within your team: created by one person, approved by another.

What does it cost to manage multiple accounts?

Billing is based on brands — a brand covers all of a brand's platform connections, for example Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for a pizzeria or a client. Which of the three plans includes how many brands and team members, and what extra ones cost, is listed on the Network plans page.

Can I use content from my tour operator partners?

Yes. Through ViralSpoon Connect, partner brands such as TUI, DERTOUR, AIDA, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Studiosus provide posts. You pull them into your account, ViralSpoon personalizes them for your travel agency using AI, and then you publish them. The tour operator cannot post on your behalf themselves.

How often can posts be published?

In the Basic plan, ViralSpoon automatically creates four posts per week; in the Professional plan, seven. Your own content comes from a monthly credit allowance. If automation is turned off, this allowance increases accordingly. The Basic plan includes up to 30 credits per month for your own content, the Professional plan up to 60.

Can I schedule short-notice daily specials?

Yes. You enter the offer into the content calendar, and the ViralSpoon AI creates the text and image. Fully automatic generation of daily specials directly from the menu is in development and not yet available today. On the go, you can also do this through the ViralSpoon app: take a photo, choose a template with AI-generated text, publish.

Can I use my own product photos?

Yes, and in retail that's the obvious way to go. You upload photos from your store, and ViralSpoon adds layout and text in your business's branding. Where your own material is missing, integrated stock photos or graphic Text Slides that need no image step in. The ViralSpoon AI can also generate images on its own if you like.

Is ViralSpoon also suitable for employee recruitment?

ViralSpoon regularly publishes posts that showcase your employer brand: team, training, everyday work life. This indirectly supports recruiting. ViralSpoon is not an applicant management system, a job ad placement tool, or a job board integration. You can set up recurring topics like the start of a new training year in the content calendar management of ViralSpoon Expert Mode.

How does Agency Mode differ from the sole proprietor package?

Agency Mode enables central management of multiple accounts, including anti-duplicate content. You'll find the package details on the pricing page.

How is co-op advertising funding (WKZ) documented through ViralSpoon?

Because pulling and publishing both happen within the system, documentation is generated automatically: which partner pulled which post, when and on which channel it was published, and with what impressions, likes, and comments. ViralSpoon doesn't provide attribution all the way to bookings. Performance data is available to the brand and sales partners in real time.

Does ViralSpoon check my posts for regulatory compliance?

No. Automatic compliance checking is not part of the service. In Expert Mode, you can set rules and phrases to avoid, and review every post before it's published. Responsibility for the content remains yours. This is not legal advice. There is no automatic approval by ViralSpoon.

Does ViralSpoon also work without a marketing team?

Yes. ViralSpoon is built for businesses without marketing staff. The content calendar is generated from a scan of your website, the AI creates text and images in your branding, and publishing runs automatically. You decide on topics and approvals. Prior design or marketing knowledge is explicitly not required.

Outsource social media or handle it yourself?

Both are possible; the question is where the effort should go. An agency brings strategy and creative work but costs fixed monthly fees and coordination time. ViralSpoon handles production and publishing, while strategy, campaigns, and community management stay in-house. Many small and medium-sized businesses combine both: baseline content via software, campaigns via an agency.

Do the posts really sound like me?

The tone comes from three sources: the scan of your website, Brand Voice for tone and layout, and the rules in ViralSpoon Expert Mode. There you set how you address your audience, technical terms, and taboo topics. Negative rules like "no exclamation marks" or "never mention prices" are especially effective, because they're verifiable and apply to every post.

Can I post to TikTok with ViralSpoon?

No. TikTok is planned but not live yet. ViralSpoon currently supports Facebook, Instagram Business profiles, LinkedIn company pages, and WhatsApp. Pinterest and LinkedIn personal profiles are also planned but not yet available. If TikTok is your main channel, ViralSpoon today only covers part of your channels. You should know that before testing it.

What does ViralSpoon change about the margin per client account?

The effort per client account shifts from production to oversight and approval. Onboarding starts with a website scan instead of a briefing workshop, and text and layout are generated automatically per account. An additional client account therefore adds to the oversight workload, not the production workload. Reliable figures on cost savings are not available.

Do I have to appear on camera myself for a salon channel?

No. ViralSpoon creates posts, stories, carousels, and text slides from photos and text, and the visible part of your work is the result on the customer, not your face. Result photos and planned topics are enough to keep a salon channel active on a regular basis. Creating your own Reels and adding music aren't possible with ViralSpoon yet.

Does ViralSpoon automatically check my posts for HWG compliance?

No. An automatic AI check for compliance with the German Therapeutic Products Advertising Act (HWG) is in development at ViralSpoon and not available today. In Expert Mode, you can set your own rules for the AI to follow, and you approve every post yourself before it's published. Responsibility stays with the pharmacy.

Does the head office need access to franchisees' accounts?

Only in agency mode. There, the head office controls the accounts directly and needs the corresponding permissions. With ViralSpoon Connect, franchisees keep full control of their own accounts; the head office simply provides content that can be pulled. Both models can run in parallel within the same network.

What distinguishes ViralSpoon for hotels from the restaurant solution?

The hotel solution revolves around accommodation: room categories, amenities, surroundings, season planning, and direct bookings. The restaurant solution revolves around dishes, daily specials, and guests on-site. Hotels with their own restaurant use both; the topics from both areas then come together in a shared content calendar and are published through the same channels.

Does the association need access to members' social media accounts?

No, not with ViralSpoon Connect. The association provides content, and members pull it into their own account and publish it themselves. Access would only be needed with ViralSpoon's agency mode, where the association controls members' accounts directly. Both models can run in parallel.

Do I need my own travel photos for social media?

No. ViralSpoon combines built-in stock photos, partner material from Connect, and graphic Text Slides, which don't need an image at all. You can upload your own photos at any time; they work especially well for local topics like your team, shop window, or an info evening. Feed posts are ideally square, and Stories and Reels must be in the 9:16 portrait format.

Do my sales partners have to give up their accounts?

No. With ViralSpoon Connect, the sales partner remains the owner and sender of their account. You can't post on their behalf. The partner decides which of your posts to pull, keeping control of their channel. ViralSpoon Connect therefore works on a pull model, unlike ViralSpoon Agency Mode, which controls accounts directly.

How do I get my own plated-dish photo into a post?

Via the ViralSpoon app for iOS and Android, in three steps: take a photo, choose a template with AI-generated text, and publish. The login is the same as on the web. Alternatively, upload images in the browser and combine them with AI-generated text. Feed posts are ideally square, and Stories and Reels need 9:16.

Does ViralSpoon pull products from my online shop or point-of-sale system?

No. ViralSpoon isn't connected to shop systems or inventory management and doesn't know stock levels or prices. For products you want to show, you provide a photo and a short description, and the AI handles the layout and text. You also enter prices and availability into the post text yourself.

Can ViralSpoon create before-and-after posts?

Yes, as an image pair or carousel: you upload both photos, and ViralSpoon adds the layout and text in your business's branding. Automatically generated before-and-after videos are in development and not currently available. Adding music isn't possible in ViralSpoon yet either. Stories and Reels need the 9:16 portrait format.

Can ViralSpoon create before-and-after videos for my studio?

No. This feature is in development and not available yet. Before-and-after content as an image pair or carousel is possible. For photos showing a person's body, you always need that person's consent. The ViralSpoon AI creates the image and text in your studio's branding, and you approve the post before it's published.

What topics work when insurance is seen as boring?

Occasions and questions instead of products: switching deadlines, life situations like building a house or growing a family, common misconceptions, explained technical terms. Posts like these answer a question someone already has. Pure product posts don't achieve that. You set such priorities as custom topic guidelines in the content calendar management of ViralSpoon Expert Mode.

How much time do I need to set aside per week?

The ongoing effort consists of reviewing the content calendar and approving or adjusting individual topics. ViralSpoon handles production, design, and publishing. Community management, meaning replying to comments and messages, stays with you and isn't part of the automation. ViralSpoon deliberately does not commit to a fixed time estimate.

We're canceling our social media agency. What should we watch out for?

Before canceling, sort out the Meta Business Portfolio, admin rights, image licenses, and templates: transfer pages rather than creating new ones, or you lose their history. After that, you need a content calendar so the channels don't go quiet. ViralSpoon generates this calendar from a scan of the company website, not from agency documents. This note is not legal advice.

What do I post about when client matters are confidential?

About the knowledge from the cases, not the cases themselves. Three sources reliably carry content: recurring questions from initial consultations, deadlines and legal changes, and existing expert texts that can be reused multiple times. ViralSpoon turns a blog article or PDF into several posts, including as a carousel or graphically designed text slides.

How do I run multiple channels from a single plan?

Through the content calendar. It shows topic, channel, and timing in a single view. A topic can appear more than once, worded separately for each channel rather than as an identical copy. ViralSpoon ideally generates posts in a 1:1 ratio, and Reels and Stories in 9:16. Scheduling happens directly from the calendar.

What does Anti-Duplicated Content do for agencies?

Anti-Duplicated Content individualizes every post per account so platforms don't flag it as a copy of the same content. For agencies, that means one topic idea can be rolled out across multiple client accounts without producing identical posts. How individual platforms handle detected duplicates is not made public by them.

Can I use my own customer photos?

Yes. You upload your own photos, and ViralSpoon combines them with AI-generated text in your branding. A built-in stock photo library is also available for when you don't have your own image for a planned topic. You obtain your customers' consent to publish the photos yourself; ViralSpoon does not check this.

May a pharmacy advertise prescription medicines on Instagram?

Under Section 10 of the German Therapeutic Products Advertising Act (HWG), advertising prescription medicines to the general public is prohibited and permitted only toward specialist audiences. A public Instagram channel counts as the general public. This is a general orientation, not legal advice; if in doubt, ask your chamber of pharmacists or a specialist lawyer for medical advertising law.

How does ViralSpoon prevent all locations from posting the same content?

Anti-Duplicated Content automatically personalizes every post before it appears on the respective location account, so platforms don't classify it as a copy of the same content. The text and design differ while the message stays the same. How individual platforms handle detected duplicates isn't made public.

Can ViralSpoon increase direct bookings?

How many posts per week are realistic?

Automated, it's four posts per week on the Basic plan and seven on the Professional plan. On top of that, you get your own content from a monthly credit balance. How do I get construction site photos into a post?

Where do the images come from if I have no one to take photos?

How does client approval work?

Can I post short-notice open appointments?

What do I need for ViralSpoon to publish to Instagram?

Instagram only allows third-party publishing for business profiles. So you need an Instagram business profile linked to your Facebook page through the Meta Business Portfolio. A private Instagram profile can't technically be connected — that's a requirement from Meta, not a limitation of ViralSpoon. Making the switch takes just a few minutes in your Instagram settings.

Which social media channels can I publish to with ViralSpoon?

ViralSpoon publishes live to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. On LinkedIn, company pages are supported; personal profiles are planned but not yet available. TikTok and Pinterest are also planned. For Instagram, you need a business profile linked to your Facebook page through the Meta Business Portfolio.

Which image and video formats do I need?

For posts, we recommend the square 1:1 format. Reels and stories must be uploaded in portrait format 9:16 — the Meta interface rejects other aspect ratios. One more note: if you mix images and video in one post, it can happen that only Facebook publishes it and Instagram doesn't. It's best to stick to one media type per post.

How do I register with ViralSpoon?

Registration happens in four steps: fill out the form with name, email, and password, click the confirmation link in the email, log in, complete setup. During setup you enter your basic settings and your website address. The process takes about three minutes, after which ViralSpoon creates the first posts.

What happens during the website scan in setup?

ViralSpoon reads your website and derives the company description from it: services, tone of voice, target audience. This description is the basis for every automatically created post. The more precise it is, the more varied the texts turn out. You can refine it at any time under "My Account."

I have an access code from my agency — where do I enter it?

You enter the access code in the field provided during registration, or you use the invitation link from your agency, head office, or partnership — in that case the code is already filled in. It's also possible to add it later: under "My Account" you can enter the code afterward.

What changes when I join an agency or head office?

The parent organization then manages your account and activates your license — billing runs through them. They can also provide you with templates and ready-made posts that you can use as-is or adapt. You continue to create your own posts in ViralSpoon yourself.

How do I connect Facebook and Instagram with ViralSpoon?

Via "My Account" in the sidebar, open "Manage Meta Settings." ViralSpoon redirects you to Facebook. There you log in with the personal profile that manages your company's Facebook page and confirm the permissions. After that, the Facebook page and Instagram account are available in ViralSpoon.

What is a Business Portfolio at Meta?

The Business Portfolio is the container that holds your Facebook page and Instagram profile — an internal Meta construct whose name is never shown to your followers. A Business Portfolio is required for the connection with ViralSpoon; otherwise the interface lacks the necessary access rights.

How do I create a Business Portfolio?

Two paths lead there. During the connection process with ViralSpoon, Meta itself asks whether a Business Portfolio should be created — there you assign the Facebook page and Instagram business profile directly. Alternatively, you create it beforehand at business.facebook.com and then assign the two accounts to it.

When connecting, only my private profile appears, not my Facebook page. What's the reason?

That's normal: there's no separate login for a Facebook page, every page is attached to a personal profile. After you select that profile, the next step shows the Business Portfolio with the Facebook page and linked Instagram account. If the list stays empty, the Business Portfolio is usually missing.

Can I use ViralSpoon with only Instagram, without a Facebook page?

No. Meta requires that every connected Instagram account belongs to a Facebook page. It also has to be an Instagram business profile — private accounts can't be connected. You link the Facebook page and Instagram profile together in the Business Portfolio, after which the connection to ViralSpoon works.

The connection to Meta fails. What can I do?

Four causes are possible: you're not an administrator of the Facebook page, you don't have access to the Business Portfolio, none has been created yet, or Meta has restricted your account. Check these points in this order — missing administrator rights is the most common cause.

I can't create a Facebook page. What's the reason?

Often the profile is too new: for freshly created accounts, Meta requires a few friends before a page can be created. Two other reasons come up as well — your account has been restricted by Meta, or the desired page name violates Meta's naming policies.

What permissions does ViralSpoon need from Meta?

ViralSpoon needs access to the connected Facebook page and the Instagram business profile in order to publish posts and Stories and to read back the metrics. Without these permissions, neither publications nor statistics will appear. You grant them once in the Facebook dialog during the connection process and can revoke them there again.

My post wasn't published. What's the reason?

Four causes cover most cases: the connection to the social media account is broken, the post hasn't been approved, the aspect ratio doesn't fit — 1:1 for posts, 9:16 for Reels and Stories — or there's a brief outage on the platform itself.

Can I include videos in a regular post?

Yes, videos can also be used in feed posts; the 1:1 format applies there. Be careful with mixing media: if a post contains both video and images, it can happen that it only appears on Facebook and Instagram rejects it. A post with just one media type is safer.

How do I know if a post has been approved or already published?

The dashboard separates the two into their own tabs: approved posts appear under "Approved," published ones under "Published." In the calendar, approved posts are also marked. As long as a post hasn't been published, you can open and edit it at any time.

What does the calendar overview show?

The calendar shows all scheduled posts and stories with their dates, plus a detail view for each entry. You can also see what's already been approved and what's still waiting for your approval — and whether a post came from the AI or was provided by your agency.

How do I create a post with ViralSpoon?

Under "Design post," choose a suggested topic or enter a short piece of information. After generating, have matching hashtags created, upload an image or video, and optionally choose an image overlay. Finally, set the publishing time and approve the post.

What does the "Include image content" option do?

With this option, ViralSpoon generates the text based solely on the uploaded image, without you specifying a topic. The AI recognizes the image content and relates it to your business. That said, you'll get better results if you add a short piece of extra information yourself.

How do I use image overlays and templates?

Next to the upload button is "Image overlays." There, you choose between templates with and without text. For templates with text, you either write it yourself or have the text generated. The template automatically picks up your company's design settings from "My Account."

How do I schedule a post?

Enter the date and time directly on the post and update it. To make sure it's actually published at that time, also check the "Approve post" box. Without approval, the post stays scheduled but unpublished.

Can I edit a scheduled post afterward?

Yes, as long as it hasn't been published yet. Open it in the dashboard, make your changes, and update the post so they take effect — this applies to text, image, hashtags, call-to-action, and date. Once published, a post can no longer be edited in ViralSpoon.

How many posts does ViralSpoon create automatically?

The number depends on your plan: Lite includes one automated post per week, Basic four, Pro seven. Exact figures are on the pricing page. Regardless of your plan, ViralSpoon recommends using as much of your own content as possible — the more personal it is, the better it resonates with your followers.

When do I get new automatically created posts?

Weekly. ViralSpoon provides the new posts and notifies you by email. The reference point is the weekday you registered on — so if you signed up on a Tuesday, you'll get your posts every Tuesday.

Can I turn off automatic post creation?

Yes, in your settings. If you disable automation, your monthly allowance for self-created posts increases accordingly. This makes sense if you mostly post your own content anyway and don't need the suggestions.

Why do the automatically generated texts look similar?

Every text is based on your company description. If it's brief, the AI has little material to work with and varies less. The more detailed your description under "My Account," the more varied your posts become. You can also edit individual texts via the Copilot or by hand.

I don't like the suggested image. What can I do?

The images are just suggestions and can be swapped out anytime — simply upload your own. ViralSpoon explicitly recommends this: your own photos feel more personal than stock material and fit your business more precisely.

How do I create a story with ViralSpoon?

Under "Design story," you have two options. Either upload an image, choose a template, and have the text generated for it — or upload a finished story or video. Both can be scheduled and published in ViralSpoon.

How do I use a template for stories?

Under "Select template," you choose a layout, have the text generated, and adjust it. The story automatically picks up the design settings from your profile — primary and secondary color, as well as your logo. That way your look stays consistent without any design work on your part.

Can I schedule videos as a story?

Yes. You upload finished videos and schedule them just like an image story. The format matters: stories and reels must be in portrait 9:16 format, or the Meta API will reject the post.

How do I create a post from an offer?

Via "Design offer." As a source, ViralSpoon uses a website link, a PDF file, or an image, and reads the details from it. Both job postings and product offers are supported. With a link, it's automatically set as the call-to-action and also shown on Facebook posts.

What is content upcycling?

Content upcycling turns existing material into a social media post. For example, you pick an existing blog article, and ViralSpoon condenses it into a finished post. It's the fastest option when content already exists and only the channels are missing.

What's the image library for?

The image library is the central place to store your images in ViralSpoon. From there, you can create posts directly without uploading a file again. How many images fit depends on your plan.

Does ViralSpoon create posts from my image library?

Yes. Based on your uploaded images, ViralSpoon generates posts and places them directly in your dashboard instead of having you wait for them one by one. Right now you trigger this yourself via the "ViralSpoon AI" option; more automation is planned.

What can I configure under "My Account"?

That's where all the basic settings live: company description, name and industry, primary and secondary color, logo, goals and post styles, number of automatically created posts, call-to-action text and link, number of emojis, preferred post length, default publishing time, form of address, and your linked social media accounts.

What does ViralSpoon use the primary and secondary color for?

Both colors are used in posts and stories whenever you select a template or image overlay. This keeps your brand look consistent without having to design every post yourself. In most browsers, you can pick up the colors directly from your logo with the eyedropper tool.

What's my logo used for?

Your logo can be added to your posts, where it appears as the sender. It also serves as a color source: in most browsers, you can pick up your primary and secondary color directly from your uploaded logo with the eyedropper tool.

What's a call-to-action and where does it appear?

A call-to-action is the prompt to act within a post — "Book now," "Learn more," "Contact us." In ViralSpoon, you set a default text and a default link, and can change both for each post. The call-to-action is displayed on Facebook posts.

How many hashtags should I use?

Four to seven relevant hashtags is a good guideline on most platforms. In your profile, save only two to three fixed hashtags and let the rest be generated per post — that way they stay on-topic instead of repeating the same ones every time.

How many emojis make sense?

Three to five emojis per post is a common guideline: enough to grab attention without overloading the text. You set the number under "My Account." Your audience and personal taste still matter most.

What post length should I choose?

ViralSpoon recommends "Minimalist" or "Compact & concise." This setting is under "My Account" and applies to all newly generated texts. You can change it anytime if your posts come out too short or too long.

What's the best time to post?

That depends on your audience and channel — there's no universal best time. ViralSpoon offers Smart Scheduling for this: the feature analyzes your past posts and automatically schedules new ones at the times that work best based on that data.

How do I change my plan?

Under "Subscription," you can upgrade or downgrade. The change takes effect at the start of the next billing period. You'll find the details of your current subscription under "My Account." If you've reached your plan's post limit, you can upgrade at any time.

I signed up through a partner — how does billing work?

Through the partner. If you signed up via an agency, head office, or a cooperation, you don't have your own subscription with ViralSpoon — the organization activates the license and handles billing. So questions about term and cost go directly to them.
